Main Rotor Mast Alignment Arbor for Bell 407
Paravion Technology has designed an aid to
installing the Bell 407 main rotor hub assembly. This simple, but unique tool,
has proven itself to reduce the time necessary to install the 407 Main Rotor Hub
while ensuring proper mast alignment and proper seating of the split cones.
The Mast Alignment Arbor reduces chances of uneven cone set alignment, reduces
cost in labor and materials, ensures installation to be right the first time,
and reduces main rotor track and balance time by reducing the chances of hub
shift.
This tool is referenced in Bell Helicopter Technical Bulletin TB 407-03-48 as the work aid to be used when installing the M/R hub assembly.
