SAC Line (Synthetic Alternative Cable)

Paravion offers SAC (Synthetic Alternative Cable) Line as a replacement for steel cable or rope. Made of a space age polymer, 12 strand SAC Line is ten times stronger than steel and seven times lighter than wire rope. SAC Line has near zero stretch, is resistant to chemicals, non-corroding, highly UV resistant, long wearing without lubrication, and has low friction. This product offers reduced aero-dynamic drag and very low permanent elongation as well as resistance to kinks. SAC Line provides neutral buoyancy in water and can eliminate static discharge with its low conductivity. Both in the air and on the ground, the red finish provides greater visibility than steel cable. Each line has a stainless steel thimble braided onto each end. Braiding instructions for replacing thimbles or repairing the lines are available upon request.
