Since the beginning of time, removable dual controls in the Bell 206 series and 407 helicopters have left the tail rotor control pedals installed, restricting the foot and leg room of the front seat passenger. Over the years, several creative methods have been devised to correct this limitation. But, until now, all have been only a partial cure for the problem.
Paravion® is proud to announce a “quick change” system that removes the dual pedals and installs an extended foot rest. This can all be
accomplished, without tools, in less than three minutes by the pilot or a mechanic. With the “quick release” pedals removed and the foot rest installed, the front seat passenger is left with over six inches additional leg and foot room when compared to other approved foot rest configurations.
The removable dual pedals and foot rest are FAA/STC approved for the Bell 206 Series
and
407 helicopters. The initial installation requires approximately one man-hour. All parts and hardware are included to modify the existing dual pedal assembly.
