The concept is easy, even if the calculations being performed are not. Eliminate moving maps altogether and show street names, parcel data, and more, directly on top of live video. No more taking your eyes off one screen or image to look at another while trying to perform the mental arithmetic required to coordinate between the two. Having two monitors or even screen-in-screen is eliminated with the ARS System. Need a better look? Switch to a full synthetic view and see the exact coordinated image as high resolution satellite imagery. Type in an address, touch a building or any other target, and the location data is shown while the gimbal steers to it. Simple and state of the art.
