Eagle Vision II - 4-Axis Stabilized Camera System

Paravion® proudly introduced the original Eagle Vision system as an efficiently designed, broadcast quality, airborne daylight camera system that gave operators an affordable option to competitors' systems. Now, Paravion introduces the Eagle Vision II which is constructed of high-grade carbon fiber ensuring durability while maintaining the light weight demanded throughout the aviation industry. Suspended in a patented magnetic field, four-axis stabilization provides a broadcast-quality video or live shot via an optional microwave downlink system. The Eagle Vision II utilizes the Sony DCR-VX-2000 or the Sony DSR-PD150 digital video cameras featuring up to 12X optical and 48X digital zoom capabilities, three 1/3" 380 pixel CCD's, and excellent low illumination recording capabilities. (Please call for additional specifications).

Paravion's Eagle Vision II hand control unit (HCU) is conveniently configured in an ergonomic laptop design. A single joystick controls the gimbal throughout 360º of continuous pan motion and 110º of tilt motion. The camera is operated using the integrated controls on the HCU. A high-resolution, 6-inch detachable monitor is mounted on the HCU providing the operator a self-contained operating platform. Another monitor may be mounted elsewhere in the aircraft using an optional FAA/STC approved monitor mount from Paravion.

Mounting to the aircraft is accomplished using the same proven, reliable, and efficient design used by Paravion for mounting numerous types of the camera systems. Following minor modifications required for some aircraft, the system is then "quick-mounted", which allows installation and removal to be accomplished in minutes. The Eagle Vision II is FAA/STC approved(*) and includes all mounting provisions, the camera/recorder, main cable set, flat screen monitor, installation instructions and guidelines for system operation. As with all Paravion products, the Eagle Vision II is backed by superior product support.
